Elon Musk proposed that the US government send money to citizens directly from the US treasury and assured that the development of AI and robotics will help avoid inflation.

"Better to just send money to people directly from the treasury. As long as the growth in the production of goods and services exceeds the growth in the money supply, which will happen with the advent of AI and robots, there will be no inflation.
