Russia tested more than 1,000 weapons samples in Ukraine in 2025, Putin claims

More than a thousand samples of new weapons underwent testing in combat conditions last year.

Russian President Vladimir Putin reported this during a meeting with graduates of military universities.

“With the start of the special military operation, there has been a qualitative development of many types of weapons. I will cite just one figure: last year, more than a thousand samples of weapons and equipment underwent testing in combat conditions, including unmanned aerial vehicles with an improved guidance system and loitering munitions, robotic systems for various purposes, and much more,” the head of the Russian state noted.
