Pezeshkian: Tehran does not trust Washington
Iran will fulfill its obligations under the memorandum with the US, but Tehran does not trust Washington.
This was stated by the president of the Islamic Republic Masoud Pezeshkian, his press service reports.
“We are distrustful of the US because we were attacked twice during negotiations. At the same time, we have always been and remain ready for dialogue and peace,” he said.
Pezeshkian also emphasized that Iran does not intend to “bow its head” to “illegal and inhumane” demands.
“If the other side adheres to its obligations and does not go beyond the agreed framework, then we will also act in accordance with the obligations,” the head of the republic added.
