In Armenia, consideration of case on annulling election results resumes
The Constitutional Court of Armenia has resumed consideration of the lawsuit by seven political forces seeking to declare the results of the parliamentary elections invalid.
On the current stage, political parties and blocs are presenting facts of violations during the preparation for the elections, pre-election campaigning, and on voting day.
According to the voting results in the parliamentary elections held on June 7, the ruling party "Civil Contract" of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received 49.7% of the votes, businessman Samvel Karapetyan's bloc "Strong Armenia" — 23.2%, and former President Robert Kocharyan's bloc "Armenia" — 9.9%.
