Qatar strongly condemns Iranian strikes on Bahrain

The Qatari Foreign Ministry condemned Iran's attacks on Bahrain.

"The Qatari Foreign Ministry stated that it strongly condemns the Iranian attacks on Bahrain and emphasizes the need to protect the region from the consequences of these unjustified attacks," the channel's report said.

The Qatari Foreign Ministry called to "continue the course of dialogue and diplomacy, de-escalation and rely on the achievements reached within the framework of the memorandum of understanding, in such a way as to contribute to strengthening security and stability both at the regional and international levels."

Qatar, together with Pakistan, is a mediator in the negotiations between Iran and the United States.

Earlier, the Bahraini Foreign Ministry stated that several Iranian drones attacked the country on Saturday, June 27, in the morning.
