An earthquake of magnitude 4 was recorded in the Sindirgi district of Turkey's Balikesir province. According to the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority under the Turkish government (AFAD), the tremors were registered at 15:56 local time (16:56 Baku time).
The source of the natural disaster lay at a depth of 11.22 kilometers. To date, no information about deaths, injuries, or any serious damage to infrastructure has been received by the competent authorities.
