Russia strikes Sumy and Zaporizhzhia oblasts, dead and wounded reported
Russia attacked Sumy and Zaporizhzhia regions of Ukraine, as a result of which six people were killed and another 37 were injured.
As Report transmits citing Ukrainian media, this was reported by the National Police of Ukraine and the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Ivan Fedorov.
According to the National Police, two people were killed and another nine were injured in Sumy region as a result of Russian attacks.
Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Ivan Fedorov reported that Russian troops carried out 973 strikes on 45 populated areas of Zaporizhzhia region in a day. As a result of the attacks in Zaporizhzhia, as well as Zaporizhzhia and Pology districts, four people were killed and another 28 were injured.
In addition, according to regional authorities, 249 reports were received about damage to residential buildings, cars and infrastructure facilities.
