Tehran expects delegations from more than 30 countries to participate in the farewell ceremony for Ali Khamenei

In Iran, national and provincial headquarters have been formed to conduct the mourning ceremony for the farewell to the late supreme leader Ali Khamenei.

This was stated by Ali Akbar Purjamshidian, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs for Security and Law Enforcement and Secretary of the National Headquarters for Organizing the Funeral of the Supreme Leader of the IRI.

“At the moment, more than 30 countries have announced their readiness to send their official representatives to the ceremony. In addition, spiritual figures, scientists, and researchers from more than 90 countries have contacted us,” he said.

The farewell ceremony and funeral of the former supreme leader of Iran Ali Khamenei will take place from July 4 to 9.
