Strong earthquake occurs off the coast of Turkey

An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.3 occurred in the Mediterranean Sea off the coast of Turkey.

According to available information, the tremors were recorded at 14:06 local time (15:06 Baku time - ed.).

The epicenter of the earthquake was located 137 km from the Datça district in Muğla province.

The source of the disaster was at a depth of 19.87 km.
