Iran and Qatar resume maritime trade after five-month break
In the Qatari port of Er-Ruwais, cargo deliveries from Iran have resumed after almost five months of inactivity.
This was stated by Iranian trade adviser in Doha Abbas Abdolhani.
He added that this was achieved in coordination with the Qatari government.
The diplomat emphasized that this transport hub is one of the main points for importing products to the local market. Restoring the logistics chain will help reduce cargo transportation costs, as well as speed up delivery and increase the overall volume of trade.
