Iran's military announces attack on US Navy ships

Iran's armed forces attacked several American warships located off the coast of Bahrain with cruise missiles.

This was reported by the state television of the Islamic Republic.

"Iranian forces fired cruise missiles at American ships deployed off the coast of Bahrain," TV reported, citing a representative of the Iranian army.

It is indicated that among those attacked was an American destroyer. There is no information about possible damage to US warships.
