Number of earthquake victims in Venezuela increased to 4,490

The number of people killed due to two earthquakes that occurred in Venezuela on June 24 increased to 4,490, said National Assembly Chairman Jorge Rodriguez.

The number of injured has not changed — 16,740 people were injured.

Additionally, almost 18 thousand people were left homeless. 6.4 thousand people were rescued from under the rubble. 190 buildings were completely destroyed, another 856 received significant damage.
