Rubio on meeting with Lavrov: discussed need to end Russia-Ukraine war

Relations between Washington and Moscow as well as the settlement of the Russia-Ukraine conflict became the topics of negotiations between US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on the sidelines of the ASEAN ministerial meeting in Manila.

Rubio reported this on his page on the social network X.

«We discussed relations between the US and Russia, as well as the need to end the Russia-Ukraine war», noted the head of the American foreign policy department.
