Iran's health ministry reported 55 killed after recent US strikes

At least 55 people were killed after the 13th consecutive series of nighttime US strikes on Iran, 645 injured, Fars agency reported on Friday, citing the republic's Health Ministry.

According to the agency, the largest number of victims was recorded in the southwestern province of Khuzestan, as well as in the southern provinces of Hormozgan, Sistan and Baluchestan.

It is noted that out of 645 injured, 586 people have been discharged after treatment, several more received outpatient care. Eight wounded remain in hospitals, some of them require further surgical intervention.

On Friday, the US Central Command in the Middle East carried out another series of strikes on Iranian targets.
