TikTok may introduce a money transfer system
TikTok is considering introducing a money transfer function between users within the service, Bloomberg reports.
According to the agency, the feature could be implemented on the basis of TikTok Pay technology, which is currently available only in Vietnam, Malaysia, and Thailand, and only for making purchases in TikTok Shop.
It is noted that this year users spent more than $2.9 billion while using TikTok services. The introduction of the new feature will make it possible to keep users inside the app and extract more benefit from transactions, Bloomberg points out.
