Media: Pashinyan is dissatisfied with Armenia's ambassador to Russia and intends to recall him

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is dissatisfied with the work of the ambassador to Russia, Gurgen Arsenyan, and intends to recall him, Armlur writes, citing its sources.

According to the outlet, the decision of the head of the cabinet is final, and it was made against the backdrop of tensions in Armenian-Russian relations.

"At the same time, it is unclear who will replace him in this post — at present there is no specific candidate either," the outlet writes.

The authorities have not given an official comment on this matter.
Arsenyan was appointed head of the diplomatic mission in August 2024; prior to that he was a member of parliament from the ruling Civil Contract party.
