Mirziyoyev calls Aliyev's state visit to Uzbekistan historic
The state visit of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to Uzbekistan is of historic significance.
As 1news.az reports, this was stated by Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev during a joint press statement with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
"The state visit of the president of Azerbaijan to Uzbekistan is, without exaggeration, of historic significance. We have spoken about this more than once today, because in fact everything that we are signing, everything that we are agreeing on, are historic events of bilateral cooperation," Mirziyoyev said.
He emphasized that today he signed a Treaty on Eternal Friendship with the president of Azerbaijan.
"You can imagine what a high level our relations have already reached, and such relations between the regions, between businesses, between the governments
and the parliaments. This is not just a document. It is a reflection of our joint aspiration to deepen interaction, expand opportunities for cooperation and build a common future," Mirziyoyev said.
