President allocates 5 million manats to FC Sabah

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has signed an order on allocating financial support to the Sabah football club.

1news.az reports this with reference to the official website of the head of state.

According to the document, in connection with the team's advancement to the UEFA Champions League stage, 5 million manats have been allocated to the club from the president's reserve fund provided for in the state budget for 2026.

The Ministry of Finance has been instructed to ensure the financing, and the Cabinet of Ministers to resolve all issues arising from the order.
