The SCO chairmanship passes to Pakistan

The chairmanship of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) is passing to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

This was announced by Kyrgyzstan's Minister of Foreign Affairs Zheenbek Kulubaev following the SCO+ summit in Bishkek.

"Today the chairmanship of the SCO passes to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. We congratulate our Pakistani colleagues and wish them a successful and productive chairmanship," Kulubaev stated.
