Orange danger level: storm winds of up to 28 m/s expected in the capital and a number of districts
The National Hydrometeorological Service has issued yellow and orange warnings in connection with the expected windy weather in Baku, on the Absheron Peninsula, and in a number of the country's regions from September 7 until the morning of September 8.
In Baku, on Absheron, as well as in Aghstafa, Gazakh, Tovuz, Shamkir, Samukh, Ganja, Dashkasan, Goranboy, Naftalan, Mingachevir, Yevlakh, Barda, Tartar, Aghdam, Balakan, Zagatala, Gakh, Sheki, Oghuz, Gabala, Goychay, Ujar, Gusar, Khachmaz, Shabran, Siyazan, Khizi, Gobustan, Hajigabul, and Neftchala, in accordance with the orange warning level, a northwesterly wind with a speed of up to 20.8–28.4 m/s is forecast.
In Gadabay, Goygol, Sharur, Sadarak, Guba, Salyan, Shirvan, Sabirabad, Saatly, Jabrayil, Zangilan, Kalbajar, Lachin, Fuzuli, Beylagan, Imishli, Kurdamir, Aghsu, Shamakhi, Ismayilli, Zardab, Aghdash, Aghjabadi, and Khojavend, a yellow warning is in effect due to wind with a speed of 13.9–20.7 m/s.
