Prime Minister Ali Asadov meets with World Bank Regional Director for South Caucasus

On September 10, Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov met with a delegation led by Rolande Pryce, World Bank Regional Director for the South Caucasus.

During the meeting, the sides highlighted the long-term and fruitful partnership between Azerbaijan and the World Bank, noting that the projects implemented jointly over the past period have contributed to Azerbaijan’s social and economic development.

The parties emphasized that there are good opportunities for expanding cooperation in sustainable urban development, green energy, transport infrastructure, agriculture, water supply, and water resources management, alongside several other areas.

During the conversation, the two also discussed prospects for the mutually beneficial partnership between Azerbaijan and the World Bank, as well as future joint projects.

Also in attendance was Taleh Kazimov, Governor of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.
