U.S. congressman: Peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia could be signed sooner

U.S. House of Representatives member Abraham Hamadeh stated that the peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia is developing faster than expected. According to him, a final peace agreement could be concluded significantly before the end of Donald Trump's current presidential term.

Hamadeh noted that, in his assessment, both sides are demonstrating determination to ensure peace and prosperity in the South Caucasus. He also emphasized the importance of continued U.S. involvement in the peace process and the implementation of the TRIPP project, which could strengthen ties between Baku and Yerevan, as well as open the region to new trade and investment opportunities.
