Diplomats visit the Cultural Center in Khankendi - PHOTO
Representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Azerbaijan, accompanied by Assistant to the President – Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmet Hajiyev, arrived at the fundamentally reconstructed Cultural Center in the city of Khankendi.
As AZERTAC reports, the Special Representative of the President of Azerbaijan in the city of Khankendi, Khojaly and Aghdara districts, Elchin Yusubov, provided the representatives of the diplomatic corps with detailed information about the Cultural Center.
It was noted that the building of the Cultural Center in the city of Khankendi was built in the 1960s and 1970s. Due to long-term use, cracks, deformations and various types of damage had appeared in the building's load-bearing structures.
As a result of the major reconstruction, the Cultural Center now has the necessary conditions for organizing various cultural and public events, film screenings and stage activities, creative work, classes, administrative management, and the provision of tourism services.
