Buryatia decides to eliminate bear after attack on human

The bear that attacked a person, causing a father to accidentally shoot his son near the village of Inzagatuy in Buryatia, Russia, is set to be eliminated.

As 1news.az reports citing TASS, this was announced by Burprirodnadzor.

"In connection with the bear attack near the village of Inzagatuy in the Dzhidinsky district, a decision has been made to regulate the animal, and regulatory measures are being carried out," the statement says.

On the evening of September 10, in Buryatia, a father accidentally shot his son while trying to protect him from a bear attack. The 28-year-old victim, with a leg wound, was hospitalized and is in moderately severe condition.
