Thousands of people took to the streets of Dublin to protest the visit of U.S. President Donald Trump to Ireland.
One of the most striking details of the rally was the huge inflatable figures depicting Trump, the late financier Jeffrey Epstein, and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Footage of the unusual installation quickly spread across social media.
Participants in the demonstration also carried placards with images of Trump, Epstein, and Netanyahu and demanded the release of materials related to the Epstein case. Reuters published a photograph of one of the rally's participants holding such a placard.
According to EFE, more than 10,000 people took part in the protest march in the center of the Irish capital. The rally was held under the slogan "Trump, you are not welcome here" and was organized by anti-war movements and a number of political parties.
Trump's visit to Ireland is accompanied by large-scale security measures. The American president held meetings with the country's leadership and then traveled to County Clare, where he visited his golf resort in Doonbeg.
