Unidentified man breaks into Kamala Harris' property
An unidentified person entered the grounds of a property in Malibu, California, where the home of former U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris is located.
This was reported by NBC News and the Associated Press, citing Harris' spokesperson Eduardo Negron. Security personnel stopped the intruder, preventing him from getting inside the house.
Police arrived at the scene. Law enforcement officers filed a report on unlawful entry and temporarily detained the intruder. He was later released.
Harris purchased the house in December 2025. According to Negron, neither she nor her husband were at home at the time of the incident.
In August 2025, U.S. President Donald Trump ordered an end to government protection for Harris, which had previously been planned to be extended for another year.
