Pashinyan comments on the decline in Armenia's exports to Russia

The Armenian government has not made any calculations regarding possible damage from the decline in exports to Russia, the republic's Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated.

"No, we do not have such a calculation. There is a calculation that our economic growth will continue," Pashinyan said.

The head of government recalled that in the first half of the year Armenia's GDP grew by about 6%. Exports, meanwhile, declined by 6.7%, but Pashinyan attributed the decrease primarily to a reduction in re-exports.

"This decline is linked to re-exports, which gave the economy practically nothing. We ourselves took measures against this, because it is fake exports," the prime minister stated.
