Preparations for City Day underway in Khankendi - PHOTO - VIDEO

In connection with the Day of the cities of Khankendi, Khojaly, Khojavend, and Aghdere, preparatory work continues for the event that will be held on September 20 in Khankendi.

This was reported by the public relations department of the Service for Restoration, Construction, and Management in the city of Khankendi and the Aghdere and Khojaly districts.

It is noted that on September 20, a concert program is planned in Khankendi in connection with City Day. Currently, appropriate preparatory and organizational work is being carried out in the city in order to organize the event at a high level.

Let us note that, under a decree signed by President Ilham Aliyev on September 18, 2024, September 20 was established as the annual celebration of the Day of the cities of Khankendi, Khojaly, Khojavend, and Aghdere. September 20 is also marked in Azerbaijan as State Sovereignty Day. The corresponding decree was signed by President Ilham Aliyev on September 19, 2024.
