Iran threatens strikes on U.S. facilities in the region with new weapons
Iran's armed forces, if the United States resumes its attacks, will begin striking previously unattacked American facilities using new weapons.
This was stated by a representative of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC, elite units of the armed forces) Hossein Mohebbi.
"Our targets will also no longer be the same. We have new targets that have not yet been struck," the Fars agency quoted him as saying.
Mohebbi emphasized that the changes will affect the geography of the war, the weapons used, and military equipment. "We will bring onto the battlefield new weapons with new capabilities, and the world will be astonished," the IRGC representative noted.
A day earlier, the central headquarters "Khatam al-Anbiya" of the Iranian armed forces stated that Iran has information that the United States is preparing to resume military action against the Islamic Republic in the near future.
