Trump has launched his own news channel
The administration of U.S. President Donald Trump has launched its own news channel, Trump TV.
The platform began operating with a video recording of the American leader's speech from two months ago.
The Washington Sun reports this.
Trump's press secretary Kaelan Dorr stated that Trump TV will be "a live broadcast of the administration's most striking moments without censorship." According to him, the channel will show segments that were not covered by the major news television networks.
"In some cases, the press reported inaccurately or did not report at all on the administration's numerous record-breaking achievements for the benefit of all Americans," Dorr added.
Trump TV is broadcast on the White House's YouTube channel and is also available in the "Live Broadcasts" section of the official White House app.
On September 18, Donald Trump revoked White House access for journalists from CNN, MS NOW, and Politico. He accused these outlets' newsrooms of spreading inaccurate information about the activities of the American administration. In a show of solidarity, other media outlets stopped covering official events involving Donald Trump.
