Four people killed in shopping center fire in Russia

Four people were killed and eight more injured in a fire at the "Solnechny" shopping complex in Sterlitamak, Russia's Emergency Situations Ministry reported.

The injured were taken to the city hospital. Information about their condition has not yet been provided.

Seventeen people were evacuated from the burning building. Firefighting efforts and the dismantling of structures continue at the site.
A total of 47 personnel and 16 pieces of equipment have been deployed to extinguish the blaze.

The cause of the fire has not yet been reported.
