Pakistan sends note to Afghanistan

Pakistan's Foreign Ministry has sent the Afghan side a diplomatic note of protest over the incursion of 23 drones from Afghan territory.

Haider Khan, a representative of the Pakistani foreign policy agency, told Afghanistan International about this.

According to him, the note was sent on September 27 in connection with an incident that occurred on September 23. Islamabad called what happened «provocative drone incursions».

Earlier, Pakistani authorities stated that their forces had shot down drones that had entered the country's airspace in the areas of Kohat and the Torkham border crossing. The Afghan side rejected these accusations.
