New York Times executive shot dead in Dublin - PHOTO
Jonathan McKinzie, who led the gaming engineering and user experience division at The New York Times, was shot dead in the city of Dublin near San Francisco.
According to local police, the crime took place on the afternoon of September 26. The suspects are relatives of his wife, and the alleged motive was a court battle in a case involving domestic violence and child abuse.

The body of the 40-year-old McKinzie was found on the grounds of a local sports complex. The man died at the scene from multiple gunshot wounds. The suspects — 77-year-old spouses Shouyun Zhang and Shili Chen — were arrested and are in jail awaiting charges.
According to court documents, Jonathan McKinzie and his wife Candice Zhang were in the process of a divorce and a dispute over custody of their child. Last year, a judge granted the wife's motion for a temporary restraining order against McKinzie amid accusations of domestic violence.
