Iran receives response from the U.S. to its conditions

The United States has conveyed to Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, through intermediaries, its response to the seven conditions previously put forward by Tehran for opening the Strait of Hormuz and resuming dialogue.

This was reported by government spokeswoman Fatemeh Mohajerani.

"At today's cabinet meeting, the foreign minister's report was presented on his trip to New York and the series of meetings held, including the transmission through intermediaries to the United States of Iran's conditions for opening the Strait of Hormuz. The esteemed foreign minister, Mr. Araghchi, also reported the receipt of a proposal from the United States," she wrote on X.

On September 23, the spokesman for the Foreign Ministry of the Islamic Republic, Esmail Baghaei, said that on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, Iran's positions and conditions for resuming the diplomatic process had been conveyed to the United States through Qatar.
