Airline "FlyDubai" temporarily suspends flights to Israel
Flydubai has suspended flights to and from Israel pending the completion of an investigation into an incident aboard an aircraft en route to Tel Aviv.
A representative of the air carrier told TASS about this.
"Following the incident involving flight FZ 1073 on September 30 and in coordination with the relevant agencies, Flydubai flights to and from Israel will be suspended for the duration of the investigation," the Flydubai representative indicated. The press service emphasized that "this temporary suspension will allow the competent authorities to continue their work and establish all the facts related to the incident."
The representative of the Emirati air carrier added that Flydubai is "fully committed to supporting the ongoing investigation and maintaining the highest safety standards" on all of its routes. "We are in close coordination with government agencies, regulators and airport management and will review the suspension as additional information becomes available," the company indicated. Flydubai also apologized to passengers whose plans were disrupted, promising to "provide support and alternative [flight] options where possible."
