Pashinyan declares Armenia's commitment to the EAEU
Yerevan remains committed to continuing mutually beneficial cooperation within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).
This was stated by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, in which he took part online.
According to the Armenian prime minister, the key foundation for the full functioning of the union's common market is ensuring the free movement of goods, services, capital, and labor.
At the same time, Pashinyan once again drew the attention of the meeting's participants to the existing restrictions faced by Armenian exporters when supplying goods to Russia. He noted that on a number of problematic issues it has not yet been possible to achieve significant progress, but stressed the need to continue a constructive dialogue to eliminate the existing barriers.
