Building under construction collapses in Surakhani district: one dead, one injured

A collapse occurred in a private residential house under construction in the village of Bahar in Baku's Surakhani district.

Concrete slabs collapsed during the work.

Rescuers pulled 60-year-old Khalil Mehtiyev out from under the rubble. The man sustained injuries.

The body of 57-year-old Jalil Mehtiyev was found under the debris showing no signs of life.

The circumstances of the incident are being determined.
