Relatives of the man who opened fire at a White House Correspondents' Association reception informed law enforcement that he could potentially carry out an attack.

At the same time, the channel noted that the source did not specify whether this information was passed on before or after the attack.
The shooting occurred on the evening of April 25 at a White House Correspondents' Association reception at the Washington Hilton hotel, attended by U.S. President Donald Trump.
No representatives of the American administration, including the president, First Lady Melania Trump, or Vice President J.D. Vance, were harmed. The shooter has been detained, and a Secret Service employee was injured.
