Russia bans sale of mineral water from Armenia
The state labeling system 'Honest Sign' has suspended the sale of a batch of 'Jermuk' mineral water (Armenia) in offline and online retail.
This was reported to RBC by Revaz Yusupov, Deputy General Director of the Center for Advanced Technologies Development.
According to him, approximately 338,000 bottles were in circulation, which have been blocked until the inspection is completed.
The basis for this action was a request from Rospotrebnadzor to take measures to prevent potential harm to citizens' health. The reason cited was a violation of mandatory requirements.
The restrictions affected products with production dates of February 17 and March 5, 2026.
'Until the inspection is completed, it will not reach consumers,' Yusupov noted.
