UAE withdraws from OPEC and OPEC+
The UAE will withdraw from the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and the OPEC+ alliance starting May 1, as reported by the Emirati state news agency WAM.
"The United Arab Emirates announced today its decision to withdraw from the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries and OPEC+, which will take effect on May 1, 2026," the statement said.
