From roots to growth: Nine Senses Fest 2026 to be held in Baku - FOTO

This summer in Baku will kick off with the third International Nine Senses Fest 2026, taking place on June 12, 13, and 14.

The event will unfold across 6 top locations in the capital and at the Sea Breeze resort complex. In June, the Caspian coast becomes the main point of attraction: warm sea, vibrant city, and a progressive international audience.

The festival brings together 1,500 participants and 80 experts. The project is supported by Leyla Aliyeva — Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, President of the Yoga Federation of Azerbaijan, and founder of Nine Senses Art Center.

Theme and program

This year’s theme — “From Roots to Growth” — is a natural continuation of the philosophy of previous years. It is a journey from self-understanding to maturity, from thought to clarity, from automatic reactions to conscious choice.

Headliners:

Imram Kriya — a master of Kriya Yoga, composer, and multi-instrumentalist. A guide to harmony through sound, breath, and inner work.
Nargiz Aliyeva — a psychologist and coach. She works at the intersection of body practices and spiritual development, integrating mindfulness into modern lifestyles.
Pavel Piskarev — the author of the “Neurographics” method and founder of the NeuroArt School. He helps transform thinking through visual practices.
Bharat Thakur — a yoga master with 30 years of experience. He combines ancient traditions of Kriya and Tantra Yoga with modern scientific achievements.

Also participating in the festival are masters in the field of self-development: Kyanan Mamedov, Nandan Gautam, Darpan, Lev Ivanov, Vadim Popov, Gafar Ganizade.

As part of the festival, a Day of Sufism will be held. Authentic practices await you from the Sheikh of the Mevlevi Tariqa — Rashid Mevlevi — accompanied live by the legend of Sufi music Ozgur Baba (Turkey).

Each day of the festival will conclude with concerts by vibrant performers:

· Chingiz Mustafayev — the “Voice of the Soul” of Azerbaijan;

· Marat Nigmatulin;

· Aura Ra Performance;

· and, of course, Imram Kriya.

What to expect at the festival:

Morning practices by the sea at sunrise.
Lectures and masterclasses by international speakers.
Breathing and meditation sessions.
Art therapy and creative formats for working with energy.
Live music and atmospheric evening programs at sunset.
Open-air activities, a market, and relaxation.

A special Nine Senses Fest fair will be organized for guests: a space featuring selective brands in the categories of fashion, wellness, beauty, and Handmade in Azerbaijan.
