Pashinyan showed footage from the rehearsal of a military parade in Yerevan - video
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan published video footage from the rehearsal of a military parade that the authorities plan to hold in Yerevan on May 28 on the Day of the Founding of the First Republic; earlier, the Armenian prime minister suggested calling the demonstration of the country's military equipment a "report to citizens."
"Rehearsal of the military parade on May 28," Pashinyan wrote in the caption to the video on his Telegram channel, although earlier he proposed calling the display of military equipment not a parade, but a "report to citizens."
The footage shows artillery installations and drones. Pashinyan specifically noted that the drones were produced in Armenia.
In Armenia, May 28 marks the Day of the Founding of the First Republic, which existed from 1918 to 1920.
Earlier, the Armenian prime minister stated that the country's authorities intend to demonstrate on this day weapons acquired mainly after 2022, but to do so with an emphasis on peace so that "neighbors do not perceive it as a display of aggressiveness." In his opinion, it is more appropriate to call the display of military equipment not a parade, but a report to citizens.
Earlier, Pashinyan made it clear that during the demonstration of military equipment, weapons supplied to Armenia from France will also be shown.
