Iran executes suspect accused of ties with Mossad
Ehsan Afreshte, arrested on charges of working for the Israeli intelligence service Mossad, was sentenced by Iran's Supreme Court on the morning of May 13 to capital punishment and hanged.
This was reported by the Iranian state television and radio company.
It is noted that Afreshte underwent special training under the guidance of Mossad in Nepal and during his cooperation with Israeli intelligence mastered three languages — English, French and Hebrew.
According to the investigation, the Iranian had the pseudonym "James" in the structure of Israel's special services, maintained contact via email and various messengers. He carried out the first Mossad assignments under the cover of an internet taxi driver.
