Baku climate week to be held in September
In Azerbaijan, Baku Climate Week will be held September 7-11 this year.
As Report reports, this was stated by Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Rashad Ismayilov at a session within the framework of WUF13 in Baku.
According to him, Azerbaijan has joined more than 20 international environmental conventions and protocols. The minister also recalled that the country successfully held COP29, following which the launch of the Loss and Damage Fund was agreed upon, the Adaptation Roadmap was adopted, and the Baku Financial Goal was established.
"Baku Climate Week will be held September 7-11 this year under the auspices of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change," said Ismayilov.
It should be noted that the first Baku Climate Week took place in 2024, and the second in 2025.
