Around 179,000 passengers transported as part of WUF13
During the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13), held in Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency (AYNA) provided comfortable, uninterrupted, and safe transportation services for guests and participants of the event using Neoplan buses and electric buses.
As reported by AYNA, a total of 9 HUB centers, 2 terminal points, and more than 67 intermediate stops operated as part of WUF13.
From the start of the event's transportation services (May 12-22), 10,220 bus trips were made between the airport, HUB centers, and the forum venue, transporting about 179,000 passengers. A total of 180 buses were involved in the transportation.
It is noted that the management of the specified routes and the execution of transportation operations were controlled 24/7 by the AYNA Monitoring Center. Approximately 1,500 employees, including drivers and board members, were involved in ensuring the transportation operations.
