New British ambassador arrives in Azerbaijan - VIDEO
New British Ambassador to Azerbaijan Duncan Norman has arrived in Baku.
The British Embassy in Azerbaijan published the corresponding video on its page on the social network X.
The diplomat noted that he is familiar with Azerbaijan, its culture and hospitality, since he has already been here: “But it is especially important for me to arrive in this country as the Ambassador of Great Britain”.
The ambassador noted that British-Azerbaijani relations are developing on the basis of friendship, mutual respect and close cooperation.
“At a time when bilateral ties are reaching the level of strategic partnership, I see the start of work in this post as a great honor and pride,” said Duncan Norman.
It is a very proud feeling to come to Azerbaijan as the newly appointed Ambassador of Great Britain.
