Azerbaijan national team becomes world champion in chovgan

The Azerbaijan chovgan national team became the winner of the World Championship held in Baku.

As Report reports, our team defeated the Chile national team 3:0 in the final.

In the battle for the bronze medal, the Uruguay national team defeated Niger 3:2.

Recall that the II World Chovgan Championship was held in Baku from June 7 to 13. Ten national teams participated in the tournament, divided into two groups. Group A included the teams of Nigeria, Uruguay, Turkey, Niger and Poland. Group B featured the teams of Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Chile and Kuwait.

All matches of the world championship took place at the Binagadi Equestrian Center.
