Court accepts Robert Kocharyan's lawsuit against Armenia's CEC for proceedings

In Armenia, the Administrative Court chaired by Judge Grigor Arakelyan has accepted for proceedings the lawsuit of former President Robert Kocharyan against the country's Central Election Commission, writes "Pastinfo".

Recall that Kocharyan intends to challenge in court the decision of the CEC of June 17 on consent to initiate criminal prosecution against him.

The Administrative Court accepted the lawsuit for proceedings and requested from the CEC as evidence in full the materials of the administrative proceedings that served as the basis for making the relevant decision. The court involved the Prosecutor General's Office of Armenia as a third party.

The court hearing is scheduled for June 24.
