Indirect technical talks between Iran and the US mediated by Qatar and Pakistan are taking place in Doha, Reuters agency reports citing a source.

"Indirect technical talks between the US and Iran are taking place in Doha. Qatar and Pakistan are acting as mediators," the message says.

According to the agency's source, the main negotiators and groups of specialists are participating in the meetings.

Iran and the US remotely signed a memorandum on the night of June 18, which involves ending the military conflict that began on February 28. The memorandum also sets the deadlines when the US will lift the naval blockade, and Iran will restore navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.
