"The plane that departed from Istanbul to Mineralnye Vody is returning to Istanbul due to possible malfunctions on board," the agency's source said. He did not specify the possible nature of the malfunctions.
According to data from the online world air traffic monitoring system, the passenger plane activated an alarm signal after takeoff.
In particular, according to Flightradar24 data, the plane took off from Istanbul International Airport and, while in Turkish airspace, climbed to nearly 10,000 meters over the Black Sea. After that, according to the portal, the plane began to descend, turned back, and activated an alarm signal. The plane is currently heading to Istanbul Airport at an altitude of about 3,000 meters.
